Who can join the Astra Awards and what memberships are available?
Membership to the Astra Awards is open to all individuals currently working or pursuing a career within the entertainment industry. By becoming a member of the Astras, you are supporting our mission of embracing and elevating inclusive voices within entertainment.
The Astra Awards offers two membership tiers: General and All-Inclusive. Each membership tier provides a different level of access and perks. All members, regardless of their membership tier, can vote in the Astra Awards (in their selected branch or branches), receive select screeners*, and have the opportunity to attend select industry screenings and events.
Based on the selected membership tier, members can attend upcoming Astra Awards ceremonies, member meetups in Los Angeles, exclusive screening and conversation series, and other Astra branded events. Members will also receive exclusive discounts and the opportunity to be part of a nominating committee and present at the Astra Awards.
There are currently three branches of the Astra Awards: a film, a television, and a creative arts branch. You can select single or multiple branches when filling out your membership form. If you select a creative arts branch, you can choose from three options: creative arts for film, creative arts for television, or a combined option for film and television.

Volunteer access to the Astra Film Awards or Astra TV Awards ceremonies, based on ceremony needs. Volunteer opportunities will be communicated via email prior to each event.

Access to a limited number of individual tickets to attend Astra Awards ceremonies. A ticket allotment form will be emailed 72 hours prior to the ceremony, and tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sorry, no guests allowed.

- One ticket to attend the Astra Podcast Awards
- A complimentary pair of tickets to attend one of the following ceremonies: the Astra TV Awards or Astra Film Awards
- Volunteer access to the Astra Film Awards or Astra TV Awards ceremonies, based on ceremony needs. Volunteer opportunities will be communicated via email prior to each event.
- Access to a limited number of individual tickets to attend Astra Awards ceremonies. A ticket allotment form will be emailed 48 hours prior to each ceremony, and tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. No guests are permitted.
- Discounted tickets to Astra Awards ceremonies:
- Creative Arts Awards: $80
- Podcast Awards: $80
- TV Awards: $200
- Film Awards: $250
- Discounted tickets are limited to a maximum of four tickets per member, per event.
