Who can join the Astra Awards and what memberships are available?
Membership to the Astra Awards is open to all individuals currently working or pursuing a career within the entertainment industry. By becoming a member of the Astras, you are supporting our mission of embracing and elevating inclusive voices within entertainment.
The Astra Awards offers four membership tiers: General, Rising Star, Supporting, and VIP. Each membership tier provides a different level of access and perks. All members, regardless of their membership tier, can vote in the Astra Awards (in their selected branch or branches), receive select screeners*, and have the opportunity to attend select industry screenings and events.
Based on the selected membership tier, members can attend upcoming Astra Awards ceremonies, member meetups in Los Angeles, exclusive screening and conversation series, and other Astra branded events. Members will also receive exclusive discounts and the opportunity to be part of a nominating committee and present at the Astra Awards.
There are currently three branches of the Astra Awards: a film, a television, and a creative arts branch. You can select single or multiple branches when filling out your membership form. If you select a creative arts branch, you can choose from three options: creative arts for film, creative arts for television, or a combined option for film and television.

General Membership - $150
• Voting privileges for all Astra Awards ceremonies in the calendar year
• Select screeners from studios and networks
• Access to attend award season screenings and events
• Ability to participate in social media projects and the grade book
• Access to exclusive Astra Events such as conversation series (Presently, all Astra events take place in Los Angeles)
• 20% off all award show tickets and other Astra events (up to two tickets)
• $25 off Astra Awards submissions fees (limited to two submissions per calendar year)
• Digital membership card
Rising Star Membership - $300
• Voting privileges for all Astra Awards ceremonies in the calendar year
• Select screeners from studios and networks
• Access to attend award season screenings and events
• Ability to participate in social media projects and the grade book
• Priority access to exclusive Astra Events such as conversation series (Presently, all Astra events take place in Los Angeles)
• 30% off all award show tickets and other Astra-paid events (up to two tickets)
• $35 off Astra Awards submissions fees (limited to three submissions per calendar year)
• Digital membership card
• Astra Awards virtual viewing party invite
• Invite to attend an in-person member meet-up in Los Angeles
• Access to private screenings hosted by the HCA
Supporting Membership - $500
• Voting privileges for all Astra Awards ceremonies in the calendar year
• Select screeners from studios and networks
• Access to attend award season screenings and events
• Ability to participate in social media projects and the grade book
• Priority access to exclusive Astra Events such as conversation series (Presently, all current Astra events take place in Los Angeles)
• One complimentary ticket to an Astra Awards ceremony of your choice (tickets are limited and are based on ceremony availability)
• Astra Awards Red Carpet Photo taken by our house photographer
• One complimentary ticket to an Astra paid event (tickets are limited and are based on event availability)
• 40% off all award show tickets and other Astra-paid events (up to four tickets)
• $45 off Astra Awards submissions fees (limited to four submissions per calendar year)
• Digital membership card
• Astra Awards virtual viewing party invite
• Invite to an in-person member meet-up in Los Angeles
• Priority access to private screenings hosted by the HCA
• An exclusive welcome package includes a t-shirt and water bottle
VIP Membership - $750
• Voting privileges for all Astra Awards ceremonies in the calendar year
• Select screeners from studios and networks
• Access to attend award season screenings and events
• Ability to participate in social media projects and the grade book
• Priority access to exclusive Astra Events such as conversation series (Presently, all current Astra events take place in Los Angeles)
• Two complimentary tickets to an Astra Awards ceremony of your choice (tickets are limited and are based on ceremony availability)
• Astra Awards Red Carpet Photo taken by our house photographer
• Two complimentary tickets to an Astra paid event (tickets are limited and are based on event availability)
• 50% off all award show tickets and other Astra-paid events (up to four tickets)
• $50 off Astra Awards submissions fees (limited to five submissions per calendar year)

• Invite to an in-person member meet-up in Los Angeles
• Early priority access to private screenings hosted by the HCA

• All VIP members can opt-in to be entered into a lottery to be part of the nominating committee (Five slots available per branch)
• All VIP members can opt-in to be entered into the Astra Awards lottery for a chance to present during one of the Astra Awards Ceremonies (Eight slots available per ceremony)
